The Dog Proof Trap Set Tool makes setting the Dog Proof Coon Trap so much easier!
You position the tool so the two notches are underneath the bar that holds the trigger. Then you position the dog of the Duke trap between the legs of the setter. The far end of the setting tool rests against the spring-powered strike bar of the trap.
Works with all Dog Proof Raccoon Traps.

Great Tool
As a woman, this is a great tool for setting the Duke coon traps. I lost my original tool in the tall grass down by the river and haven't found it yet so had to reorder another. Worth its weight in gold. My house spouse is able to set the traps with just a screwdriver. I haven't mastered the set. - Anonymous
